About the artwork

Asking themselves what nature means today, Cristina Morbi and Kristina Chan collaborate on this limited edition etching. Together, they play with the idea of bottling it - how landscape can be captured, created, reinterpreted and reimagined by weaving together materials, inks, and symbology. Working across art and design, the two ask themselves how our perception of palce has changed with technology, climate change: its preservation, fascination and idealisation.

About the artist

Maetherea (Matter + Ethereal) is an environmental design studio working internationally at the intersection between landscape, architecture, and public art.

Inspired by natural phenonmena, it creates site-specific, sculptural and performative works inspired by the transformative elements found within these environments. The landscape merges with the sculptural to create an interactive, immersive, and ephemeral experience.
